Laura Groff, Accountant
Laura joined GIC in 2024. She helps GIC meet all federal and state grant standards, manages budgets for multiple states in which GIC works, and coordinates financial reviews, audits and board meetings. She brings to GIC her accounting experience from multiple nonprofits across her time living in Charlottesville. Laura has a B.S. degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Bridgewater College and is mom to her JMU Dukes’ son and her dog Nichole. In her spare time, you can find Laura reading and doing a variety of projects at home from quilting to building shelves.
