Before joining GIC, he worked as a geospatial analyst in international disaster damage relief assessments, environmental remote sensing and monitoring, and natural hazard forecasting. He has extensive experience in disaster response in the USA and across the world, responding to humanitarian and infrastructure redevelopment needs in the wake of storms, earthquakes, floods, and wars.

He deeply values the natural world, and embraces the mission to conserve our environment well and integrate modern green planning into a sustainable and healthy future.
In his time outside of work, Peter is an avid photographer and enjoys bringing his camera on travels across the world to capture natural phenomena. He enjoys hiking, camping, stargazing, and an occasional storm chase.
