GIC is currently helping communities in the following states plan for, and plant trees through the Inflation Reduction Act, supporting programs that move beyond simply planting trees to building lasting urban forest stewardship. Through data-driven analysis, community engagement, and collaborative planning, we work with local governments and residents to identify priority planting areas, strengthen local capacity, and develop strategies to expand and care for tree canopy. By the end of the process, communities are equipped with the tools, plans, and partnerships needed to integrate trees into policies, planning, and everyday decision-making, creating healthier, more resilient neighborhoods for the long term.
